Joanna Close, MS, CCC-SLP

Jo received her Master of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders at the University of Oregon. She completed her Clinical Fellowship Year at the Portland VA Hospital, specializing in cognitive-communication disorders in veterans with brain injury. Since then, she has worked in a variety of settings and with patients/clients/students across the age spectrum, including in outpatient, acute care, inpatient rehabilitation, memory care, university clinics, and elementary schools.

 

She joined Tahoe Forest as a per diem speech-language pathologist, primarily serving the pediatric population. She enjoys working with patients of all ages and their families to support communication.
