Maya Shaanan, OT

Maya is an occupational therapist who completed her occupational therapy doctorate at MGH Institute of Health Professions in Charlestown, MA.

She has a background working in a variety of settings including acute care, acute inpatient rehab, skilled nursing, and outpatient pediatric clinics. Maya has lived in several states across the country during these experiences including Boston, MA, Twin Falls, ID and San Francisco, CA. Maya has completed further education in the areas of pediatrics including sensory processing as well as infant and child feeding. Additionally, she has further studied adult brain injury and stroke recovery.

You will likely see Maya working in the outpatient clinic with children or adults recovering from neurological events.

When Maya is not at the clinic, she will likely be traveling, trying new restaurants, or finding her ski legs on the mountain.
