Joining the team at Tahoe Forest Orthopedics, Dr. Paul Haeder has broad training in general orthopedics and is fellowship-trained in sports medicine. He treats common orthopedic problems from fractures to joint replacements, including anterior total hip replacements. With his fellowship, he has additional training in hip arthroscopy, shoulder replacement and sports medicine surgery.
Dr. Haeder, a Board Eligible Orthopedic Surgeon, graduated with honors from the University of South Dakota and earned his medical degree at Sanford School of Medicine in Vermillion, South Dakota. He interned in general surgery at the Mayo Clinic and completed his orthopedic residency at the University of Kansas in Wichita. Dr. Haeder then completed his orthopedic sports medicine fellowship training at SOAR (Sports Orthopedic and Rehabilitation Medicine Associates) in San Francisco.
Tahoe Forest Orthopedics is a service of Tahoe Forest Health System and specializes in total anterior hip replacement, joint replacement surgery, knee and shoulder reconstruction, foot and ankle surgery, arthroscopy and industrial medicine.
