Sterile Processing Upgrades and Surgery Suite Renovation to Increase Surgical Services at IVCH
To help meet the needs of the community by providing surgical services locally, IVCH will be upgrading its surgery suite. This project will offer greater comfort to patients by allowing them to access surgical care much closer to home and will give IVCH the opportunity to conduct more advanced surgical procedures. IVCH administration has determined that the best way to provide safe, quality surgical care for every patient, every time is to invest in the following:
- Create a Procedure Room for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy procedures
- Purchase equipment for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy procedures
- Upgrade to Automated Cleaning Equipment for Surgical Tool Sterile Processing
During fiscal year 19-20 the IVCH Foundation raised approximately $700,000 in funds designated to the sterile processing and surgery suite upgrades. The overall cost of the project is budgeted to be $2,000,000. This project will not be possible without the community’s philanthropic support, but we are already off to a great start and are very encouraged by the response to our annual summer appeal. To kick off our 2020 Area of Greatest Need campaign IVCH held a drive by parade to show support for our local rural hospital and the incredible nurses, doctors, and staff that work there. Thank you Incline Village for your show of LOVE for IVCH!
