IVCH is monitoring the COVID-19 outbreak closely. The COVID-19 drive-by clinic, for symptomatic testing only, is open at IVCH Monday-Friday from 1-3pm. Currently, patients are getting two swabs; the first is for the rapid Abbott ID test, and the second is being sent to the state lab or Quest.
IVCH is partnering with Washoe County Health District on the COVID-19 vaccine for residents over the age of 65. IVCH receives limited supplies of vaccines for our community, and we are notified weekly if we will receive a shipment.
Based on our vaccine supply, we are unable to take additional appointments at this time. Currently, we are experiencing unprecedented demand for the vaccine.
Please check here for additional information and updates on availability. Also note that IVCH is only allowed to vaccinate patients according to directives of Washoe County tier system. The best place to find information about the availability and distribution of the vaccine in our community is from the Washoe County public health office. Please sign up for the Washoe County waitlist if you have interest in receiving the vaccine.
