Sterile Processing Department Upgrades

Any hospital’s Sterile Processing Department, or SPD, is a complex - but often unseen - operation. Their team’s crucial work plays a pivotal role in safe and effective surgical patient care. By following strict protocol and using only the best equipment, they are able to provide clinicians with sterile, properly operating instruments for every surgical procedure. 

It is our honor to announce that with the philanthropic support of our donors, renovations and upgrades to the IVCH Sterile Processing Department were recently completed! This project has been in the works for several years, and now gives our providers the opportunity to perform a wider array of patient procedures in the surgical suite or, when appropriate, in their multispecialty clinics. 

We are deeply grateful for the commitment of our community members to help IVCH realize this accomplishment. With help from our donors, we continue to seize opportunities to refine exemplary health care – for all!
